Our Mission
Mothers In Christ offers Catholic-focused spiritual, educational and social opportunities for mothers of all ages and encourages a deeper appreciation and renewed commitment to our blessing and holy calling of motherhood.
Our Meetings
Mothers In Christ meets Monday mornings from 9-11 am during the school year at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in the Parish Hall. The church is located at 1025 S. Union Street, Traverse City, Michigan.
Daily mass is offered at St. Francis at 8:15 am, and there is a Perpetual Adoration chapel on site.
We follow the GTACS schedule. No program will be held if school is cancelled/closed.
We welcome mothers and women of all ages and life stages who seek fellowship in the spiritual life and who desire to grow in and learn more about the Catholic faith.
Programs and Kids Club
Meetings begin with a light breakfast and prayer intentions, followed by a scheduled speaker or group discussion.
Children are welcome to attend meetings with their mothers. MIC also offers on-site supervision for children called "MIC Kids Club." Our trusted Kids Club Providers play with the children during the meetings and provide a nut-free snack mid-morning.
